We have re-branded our company, formally known as Coffey Environmental Engineering Ltd is now known as Coffey Consulting Engineering Ltd. to reflect more accurately the operations of the company. Coffey Consulting Engineering specialise primarily in building services for commercial, education and industrial clients. We have recently expanded into industrial project management and we are currently providing project management for two large scale industrial projects. Namely Green Farm Foods and VistaMed.
Coffey Consulting Engineering was established in 2009 with the aim of providing competitive building services solutions for the leisure, commercial, education, industrial, & medicare industries. This is a young and dynamic company capable of adapting to new and ever changing challenges. Our aim is to provide a low cost service without compromising on the quality of this service. We have cut out all the unnecessary cost associated with our business and devised more efficient ways of doing business. Our fee structures are transparent and detail the level of service to be provided to our clients.
As part of our services we provide the architect with advice on building façade & fabric design, u-value calculations, concept and sketch plan design for plant space allocation, lighting calculations, planning reports, renewable energy options report during the planning stages of the project. This ensures that the project passes smoothly through the planning stage and that the project complies fully with planning regulations.
Managing Director: Barry Coffey
Barry Coffey was born in Mullingar in 1973 and has nearly 15 years experience in the building services industry. Barry was educated in Bolton Street college and graduated in 1998 with honours degree. After joining one of Irelands leading building services consultancies in 1998 he quickly rose to senior management and gained a significant reputation within the industry for providing the highest quality of service. In 2004 he became a director/shareholder of the firm. Barry Coffey achieved Chartership status in 2008 with the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers. In 2009 he decided to move back to Mullingar to set up his new business.
